omg shanghai is sooooooo funn. thanks for everything class 4 :(:(:(

Saturday
reached sg at 5am...ate at burger king, then rushed back for violin. haha found out that da jie was staying over. yay! i can watch korean shows every night until jonathan kor comes back. =p

Sunday
went to borders and sakae sushi....haha too tired to do anything. in the end, i just slacked at home and ate loads of mochi. hahah

today.. crashed lynn's house super early. ooh we watched the king and the clown! i felt very disturbed after that. ahha not that much about the despotic king, there're much worse emperors in history. more about the gay love triangle... lee jun ki is just too feminine for his own good. and lust should never ever prevail sense and reasoning, or whatever the king had left. okay that point is damn sick...

anyway, more bout the shanghai trip. i think my chinese improved. :D school there is great... every morning we go to class for study hall, then our form teacher, lv zi(his nick meaning donkey) will chat with us. when the bell rings, we go down to the court for 体操 and flag raising. oh man their ti cao is funneh! we do it 2 times a day, morning and after 5th period. then we trudge back up to class.... 15 mins break before first period.

ooh and the best part, we get 15 min breaks every period. hahaha and lunch's one and a half hours! wooot. basically you can slack alotttt in sch...but they end at 5, due to all the breaks. haha lynn and i made loads of friends there. they're all super nice luh... like on the first day, they just surrounded us and started talking. some even hugged us haha. and they give us chocs and crisps every break. we had to survive on that, since i cant eat the canteen food at all... all the dishes are like covered with a thick layer of oil. and it tastes weird and lumpy... ahahahha lois is so smart. she ate choco baby with rice. thats how desperate we were haha.

basically we studied everything there in chi, except english which seriously sucked. the whole class hates the eng teacher, including us who were there for barely 2 weeks? and she was teaching them all the wrong things. e.g "He always plays the bill." hurh?!? they have tons of this in their papers...no kidding.... besides that, the other lessons were quite cool. like for chinese lit, we analysed lu xun's essays and poems. ahhaha i quite like it! thenn for the rest was just absorbing as much as you can in 1 week.

oh man the students over there accepted us so readily it's hard to believe, i cant even imagine it happening in sg. it's not just being friendly...they were really open to us, and treated us as part of their class. plus we got to share one week's experience with them, which was worth much more than that.

haha i still remember during pe... the girls will play badminton, and guys basketball. chen jing(slightly taller than dan) will always pick the shuttlecocks from the bushes for us. and we'll joke alot while playing... then 5 mins before the whistle, we'll wave and jump madly at the fence behind the school. this old old uncle will come up and sell us drinks, hehehe so cute. then we'll drink it in like 3mins and throw it into the bushes, before lao shi sees it.

ohoh and after school, they'll bring us to eat dumplings. 18 jiao zi for 40c sgd! hahah so shiok. and we'll just eat and walk through the maze of xiao jie(small streets)....


hmm i miss you loads class 4... haha i love you guys! hope we can meet again in dec or next june. :))
